Tangerang Regency – The Tangerang Regency Government continues road repair work on the Teluknaga route, which has been severely damaged. The project began in early November and is still ongoing along the section from the front of Labschool to the Saelan area.
The road damage occurred due to frequent passage of heavily loaded soil trucks operating around the area. The excessive weight of these vehicles caused multiple potholes to form, creating discomfort and safety risks for road users traveling through the route.
The repair work has affected traffic flow. Vehicles are required to slow down and take turns passing through the narrowed road sections, resulting in long queues, especially during morning and late afternoon peak hours. As a result, travel time for residents has increased compared to normal conditions before the repair work started.
The Tangerang Regency Government urges motorists to remain cautious and consider using alternative routes while the repairs are still in progress. The infrastructure work aims to improve road safety and prevent similar damage from recurring in the near future.
As of the time this report is published, the road repair project in Teluknaga is still underway and is expected to continue for the next several weeks.
