Tangerang, 30 April 2025 — Students in the 6th semester of the English Education Study Program began to submit a mini thesis title or TAKI (Final Project of Scientific Work) as the initial stage in the process of preparing the final project. This activity is an important part of academic preparation before the final semester of study.
Title submission is done online through a Google Form link coordinated by academic staff with their respective academic supervisors. Students are expected to submit research titles that are relevant, original, and in accordance with their field of concentration. Some of the proposed themes include the use of technology in teaching, literary analysis, linguistic analysis and others.
One of the students, Zahra, said that the process of choosing a title was not easy. "We have to consider many things, including the selection of an up to date title, because I chose the TAKI pathway so I have to rack my brains on how to make my title and research worthy of publication in SINTA 3 or even 2. Sometimes I get confused and feel stuck, thinking that the type of research taken is also in accordance with the issues being studied," she said.
The campus stated that the title selection and validation process will be carried out by the Study Program team, and students whose titles are approved will be immediately directed to prepare a thesis proposal. It is hoped that all students can complete this stage on time so as not to hinder the graduation process.
